Baking is something I've shared with my girls since they were big enough to stand on a chair or sit on the counter and help stir things!
When Abby wanted to take horseback riding lessons at age 8, she started her own baking business to earn the money to pay for them. As time went on, she developed some regular customers, including a doctor's office who had a standing order for sticky buns twice a month.
As Sarah grew and saw the success of her sister's business, she wanted to have a business of her own, so she started making vegetarian "gluten steaks".
Then we moved, spent 7 months living in a vintage Airstream travel trailer, I started working full time and life got in the way for a couple of years!
At last . . .we have a kitchen again!
Riding lessons have given way to music tours, more expensive instruments and studying abroad opportunities. So, out with the mixing bowls and wooden spoons!
We specialize in mouth-watering, fresh-from-the-oven sticky buns, artisan bread and veggie gluten steaks, but we love to make all sorts of things that make you close your eyes, sigh and exclaim Mmm . . . that's heavenly!
