One more day before we can get our Christmas tree out! My favorite season of the year is well under way -- Canadian Thanksgiving has been celebrated, the rain and cooler temps are delightful and ushering in sweater weather and now . . . it's finally time to start thinking about Christmas in earnest! I'm so thankful I'm not taking a class this fall so I can actually spend my evenings crafting and sewing :). What is your favorite thing about Fall? What brings you the most joy during the Christmas season? What keeps you grounded from getting caught up in rampant consumerism?
I can hardly wait to have my college student workers over for dinner and our 3rd Annual Gingerbread Bake to make gingerbread men to hang with red ribbons on our Christmas tree in the office. Candles and Christmas music . . . the fragrance of ginger and cinnamon . . . laughter and stories . . .
It's time to get the master calendar out and start plotting menus, events and my annual Christmas blog post!
If there is anything we can do at Kittywonkus to ease your holiday stress, please let us know - stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, potluck contributions, concert refreshments . . . we can even send out your Christmas cards for you!
